Winter Oatmeal Stout

Pours a dark black with a head that quickly subsides and disappears.

The texture is thinner than the dark colour leads one to expect.

A chocolate taste, smokey and sweet in the finish. More carbonated than I expected, but that does not make the beer bad. Because the tastes expected by the appearance were crushed, I was led to a more thoughtful tasting on second and later quaffs.

It is very close to a porter.

A good beer very drinkable. Especially after a cold 1 ½ hr drive on a winter night.
